Nice Neo-Soul music by Alexis Glenn. It goes by the name of "Be Wary" and the production is handled by Kebu. Reminds me of Jazmine Sullivan and Erykah Badu. Glenn is also a Sociology major.

12/30/2013 0 Comments Hip Hop Music: Imperial & K.I.N.E.T.I.K - Pencils Not Pistols EP [@imperialbeats @IAmKinetik] I had to show the crew from Illect Records love. KINETIK's rhymes match Imperial's beats perfectly and smoothly. Because of that, they were able to
Riss and Ry are a R&B duo and I just happened to stumble upon their cover to the summer jam "Body Party" by Ciara. Sounds a little different in the harmonics and cadences but overall it sounds pretty sweet to the point where it can pass as original music.
- CSum "Black Swan" is definitely a dope track from Well$. Reminds me of A$AP Rocky. Too trippy!
12/30/2013 0 Comments R&B Music: K.Michelle - V.S.O.P. Remix (ft August Alsina) [@KMichelle @AugustAlsina] Already a street anthem for the R&B lovers out there, K.Michelle brings newcomer August Alsina (a.k.a. "I Love This Shxt" guy) along for her remix to V.S.O.P. Give this track a listen and definitely share!
- CSum Drake FINALLY releases the full version of this tour-leaked track. It goes by the name of "Trophies" and it is produced by Hit Boy. I felt like this track should of been the intro off "Nothing Was The Same". The hook could be a little bit tighter (in my opinion), but the overall track is pretty sweet.
- CSum New music by Kenny Lattimore. It goes simply as is... "I will love you until my heart stops".
Had to show this love and support local music. Alexander Dreamer is from Columbus Ohio and he hits us with a track simply called "Freedom of Speech". Hear him boost his confidence and self-esteem over this dope production. Almost sounds like "Control" by Kendrick.
Nicholas May is an emcee out of Chicago with a nostalgic flow similar to Common and Kanye West. The beat to this song is pretty cold and the visuals really capture you in. Nice to see May scoop up a pretty chick with honest rhymes. His style is his swag.
- CSum Sontwisted sent us his new track "The Rapture". Sontwisted comes all the way from Brooklyn, New York so you know that emceeing is in his blood and veins. The hook in this song is so powerful as well as the production. Still only 27 years old, Sontwisted brings in new school rhymes over old head vibes. At first the mix kind of caught me off guard because the vocal was pretty loud; however the beat evens it out as the track progresses.
